The Acan Lords (Micromussa lordhowensis) are premium, fleshy LPS corals known for their vivid colours and highly detailed polyp structure. They come in a wide range of striking patterns — from deep reds and neon greens to multi-colour rainbow morphs that glow intensely under blue LEDs. Their plump polyps and clustered growth create a beautiful, textured display on rockwork.

Acan Lords thrive in low to moderate lighting (PAR 60–120) and low to moderate water flow, allowing their fleshy polyps to expand fully. They are best placed in the lower to middle section of the tank, on stable rock or flat surfaces.

These corals are peaceful but can expand up to 3–4 cm per polyp, so give a little space from aggressive neighbours. They respond extremely well to feeding — offering mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, LPS pellets, or fine coral foods 2–3 times per week boosts growth and intensifies colouration. With proper care, Acan Lords grow into beautiful clustered colonies.
