SEACHEM PARAGUARD 500ml

Seachem ParaGuard is a powerful yet gentle treatment for external fish diseases in marine and freshwater aquariums. It targets ectoparasites, bacterial infections, fungal lesions, and external wounds – including Ich, fin rot, gill flukes, and fungal infections – without compromising your biological filter.

Unlike harsh formalin-based medications, ParaGuard uses a stabilized aldehyde blend with malachite green and protective polymers to eliminate pathogens while reducing fish stress. It’s ideal for use in quarantine tanks, hospital tanks, or general disease control.

Note: While milder than other medications, ParaGuard is not recommended in tanks containing live corals, anemones, or sensitive inverts.

Directions for Use:
Use 5ml per 40 litres daily. Treat for up to 14 days or until symptoms clear. Remove carbon and chemical filtration during treatment. Do not overdose. Use caution with sensitive fish (e.g., scaleless species).
