Additional Information

Seachem Cupramine is a concentrated, ionic copper medication used to eliminate a wide range of external parasites in both marine and freshwater aquariums, including Ich (white spot), Velvet (Amyloodinium), and other protozoan infections. It is more effective and far less toxic than copper sulfate or chelates, remaining active and stable in solution while allowing precise therapeutic control.

Cupramine is also easily removable with activated carbon or Seachem CupriSorb after treatment. However, it is not safe for use with invertebrates, including corals, shrimp, snails, or crabs. It is best suited for use in fish-only systems or hospital tanks.

Key Uses: Ich, Velvet, external protozoan infections
Active Ingredient: Ionic Copper (10,000 mg/L)

Directions for Use:
Remove all invertebrates before use. Turn off UV, ozone, and chemical filtration. Dose 1 ml per 40 litres on Day 1 and again on Day 2 (to reach 0.5 mg/L). Maintain this level for 14 days. Always monitor copper levels with a reliable test kit (e.g., Seachem MultiTest Copper). Remove Cupramine after treatment using activated carbon or CupriSorb.
