PolypLab Reef Safe Medic is a powerful yet gentle water conditioner formulated to treat common external fish parasites such as Marine Ich (Cryptocaryon irritans), Freshwater Ich (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis), and Marine Velvet (Amyloodinium ocellatum).

Specially developed to be safe for reef environments, Medic contains a buffered oxidizing agent that maintains stable pH levels and doesn’t harm corals, invertebrates, or nitrifying bacteria. It targets both the free-swimming and attached stages of parasites, effectively breaking the infection cycle without disrupting your tank’s natural balance.

Usage Instructions:

Add 1 level scoop per 190L (50 gallons) of water, twice daily

For severe infestations, increase to 3 scoops per 190L, twice daily

Dose once in the morning and once at night for up to 10–20 days

After treatment, run activated carbon for 2–3 days

Important Notes:

Do not use ozone or carbon during treatment

UV sterilizers can be used 1 hour after dosing

Protein skimmers may run as usual
