OceanSix Magnesium is formulated to accurately resemble the magnesium ion ratio of natural seawater. Magnesium is essential for the proper uptake of calcium and alkalinity by corals. Severely low levels of magnesium can lead to a dramatic drop in pH and an inability to maintain the required level of calcium. This supplement is suitable for all marine reef aquariums and is safe for all corals and invertebrates. It does not contain phosphates or ammonia and is available in both powder and liquid forms.
