Green Glitter Goniopora (Goniopora sp.)

The Green Glitter Goniopora (Goniopora sp.) is a premium flowerpot coral prized for its metallic green “glitter” tips and beautifully extended polyps. When fully open, its long, waving tentacles create a living underwater bouquet that adds colour, texture, and motion to the aquascape. Under strong blue LED lighting, each polyp tip shimmers with fluorescent sparkle, making this one of the most visually striking Goniopora varieties.

This coral performs best in moderate lighting (PAR 80–150) and low to moderate water flow, which allows the polyps to extend fully without being whipped around. Placement on stable rock or a flat area of the tank ensures open, healthy extension.

Green Glitter Goniopora is semi-aggressive, extending short sweeper tentacles of around 1–2 cm, making it safe for most LPS neighbours with minimal spacing. For best longevity and colour, feed 2–3 times weekly with fine particulate foods such as reef roids, phytoplankton, rotifers, or small LPS blends.
