They are peaceful, active schooling fish and should be kept in groups to reduce fin nipping and encourage natural behaviour. GMO Widows are hardy and adapt well to most stable freshwater aquariums, making them suitable for beginners and experienced aquarists alike.
They thrive in planted tanks with open swimming space and gentle filtration. Best kept with other peaceful community fish that do not have long flowing fins.
